My Story

No matter how famous or obscure, rich or poor, successful or unsuccessful, we have one thing in common: the desire to feel like we matter. Having endured the genocide against the Tusti at the age of 12, where she lost most of her family, including both of her parents and 8 of her siblings, Annick had to learn the power of resilience. In the aftermath of such a horrid experience, she struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety, to say the least. For so long, due to what she experienced at a young age, she thought that her life did not matter and that she was doomed to live an unfruitful life of hopelessness and despair. One day, she realized that her life was more significant than what had happened to her and that the choice to make something out of her life was in her hands. She decided to work on herself, started a healing journey, and attended intensive therapy. She also decided to pursue her career as a certified Maxwell Leadership Transformational Life Coach and Speaker, and Certified Trauma Informed Coach. Through her personal life and professional experience as a coach, Annick has developed essential skills, including compassion, active listening, and authenticity, that have helped her connect and support people from all walks of life regardless their race, colour, or religion to achieve their purpose and mission in life. Her practice is centered on her faith in God, who holds an ample space in her life. She aspires to be everything God intended for her and is excited about supporting others in doing the same. Over the years, Annick has shared her message of hope and resilience in different organizations , schools, prisons andchurches, including Saddleback Church and Elevate life church. In addition, Annick has a heart and compassion for people suffering and who have experienced traumatic events and is motivated to partner with them and support them in their healing journey. She wants to be the supporting person she once wished she had. She partners with individuals, youth, couples, and groups to envision their desired lives, recognize obstacles, and explore the means to achieve their goals together. She is passionate about providing a safe space where clients feel seen and heard, where she walks with them and helps them get unstuck from their past and become the best version of themselves. Annick truly believes that anyone can turn their pain into their purpose
